Green Bay finds themselves squarely in the market for a #1 wide receiver, and from the sounds of it they have been doing some shopping. Green Bay has apparently reached out about Seattle wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, and the Seahawks are listening:
Sources tell me the Packers and Chiefs have inquired about DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett’s availability.
Seattle is open to listening to offers for their star WRs but nothing is imminent.

DK Metcalf is set to be a free agent after the 2022 season. Metcalf is 24 years old and has (at least) 5 years left of playing at an extremely high caliber. If I am Green Bay I am continuing to call to debate Seattle’s asking price. No doubt it will be around what Green Bay received for Adams or what Kansas City received for Hill.
Metcalf has the potential to be a corner stone piece to a franchise. He will not come cheap to whatever team he signs with, but his down field ability is something that Green Bay could use for the rest of Rodgers career.
Realistic Trade Scenario:
Seattle Receives:
- 2022 First round pick
- 2022 Second round pick
- 2023 Fourth round pick
Green Bay Receives:
- WR D.K. Metcalf
