The NFL All-Pro team was released this past week. Among that list was one Packer and two former Badgers. Davante Adams, Johnathan Taylor and T.J. Watt were three of the five unanimous selections making Wisconsin fans proud. These players are joined by two Los Angles Rams, Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp.

    Johnathan Taylor

In his second year, Johnathan Taylor has proven to be all he was hyped up to be, and then some. For example, he led the NFL with 1,811 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. He dominated so much in fact, he rushed for over 550 yards more than the next closest rusher, Nick Chubb. As for touchdowns, Taylor’s 18 was three more than the next closest rusher, Damien Harris, who had almost 1000 yards less than Taylor. Taylor will look to build on his stellar sophomore season in 2022. He played at Wisconsin from 2017-2019. As a result, this is Taylor’s first time being voted to 1st team All-Pro.

    T.J. Watt

Life can be difficult when your older brother is a three time Defensive Player of the Year. However, life gets easier though when you do something he hasn’t done. The NFL saw linebacker, T.J. Watt tie Michael Strahan’s single season sack record. In the final game of the season, Watt hit the 22.5 sacks milestone which was needed to tie Strahan. He played at Wisconsin from 2014-2016. As a result, this is the third time Watt has been voted 1st team All-Pro.

    Davante Adams

Over the last few seasons, Davante Adams has cemented himself as a top receiver in the NFL. This season, Adams was second in the NFL with 1,553 and fifth in touchdowns with 11. As a result, Rodgers and Adams have a special connection, one that Packer fans hope to see for a few more seasons.

Adams will be key to the Packers success for a run to the Super Bowl. This will be Adams second consecutive year being 1st team All-Pro. Davante was drafted by the Packers in the second round in 2014.
