The Green Bay Packers worked out a linebacker Monday, just a few days after starting linebacker De’Vondre Campbell had to miss their Week 4 game. Campbell sustained an ankle injury in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
Campbell missed all three practices last week. So it’s possible the veteran might not be back in time for the Packers Week 5 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. However, since the Packers haven’t sent Campbell to injured reserve, one would think the injury is not long-term.
The Green Bay Packers worked out Olakunle Fatukasi

The Packers are looking to add to the position this week. According to Rob Demovsky, the Packers worked out linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi on Monday.
The Packers worked out former 1,000-yard rusher (with the Jaguars) James Robinson on Monday.
Other workouts were:
RB Clint Ratkovich (Northern Illinois)
LB Olakunle Fatukasi (Rutgers)
CB Thakarius Keyes (Tulane)
S Christian Young (Arizona)— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) October 2, 2023
Fatukasi is a UDFA initially signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and fought his way to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. He played in 13 games for the Buccaneers last season before he was released in December.
Fatukasi spent time with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs in training camp this August. He was injured during the Chiefs’ training camp and let go with an injury settlement.

The Packers have not signed Fatukasi as of this publishing. However, he could be an intriguing signing for the practice squad, given that he’s young and has NFL game experience.
