Could Aaron Rodgers actually be traded? That will remain the biggest question regarding the Packers’ 2023 off-season until a decision is made. Matt LaFleur has expressed he wants the four-time MVP back in Green Bay for at least one more run. Brian Gutekunst specifically stated that it will be a “wait and see” type of situation with Aaron Rodgers. The Packers are clearly keeping all options on the table, and today it was reported that the Packers are likely listening to trade offers in regard to Aaron Rodgers.
NFL World Reacts To Aaron Rodgers News On Monday
Below is the video of Ian Rapoport reporting that the “right trade package” could lure Aaron Rodgers away from Green Bay.

I mean, it’s not an impossibility. Here is the thing about Aaron Rodgers being traded, because of the way his contract is structured, a trade is possible. You can do it financially. You can come up with the compensation. I think Green Bay likes what they have in Jordan Love, so if they got the right package I think they could do a deal. It would be 60 million dollars for one season. That is what he is on the books for, cash, next season. Lets say you’re the Jets, “we’re going to go all in and trade for Aaron Rodgers.” You are going to be trading for a quarterback who you are giving up a first rounder I’m sure, probably more, and pay 60 million dollars, which would be by far the highest paid quarterback. So they could do it, but that is like astronomical.
The reaction from social media was mixed, to say the least:
A 6th and Zach Wilson from the Jets should get it done.

Rodgers is waiting on Tom Brady. He does not want to retire the same year Brady does.

That $60M number is deceiving – Yes its $60M in cash but the cap hit for the receiving team is only $15-20M if memory serves. Packers eat a bunch of dead cap regardless. For a team that said "its 2023 or never" it is absolutely a reasonable contract to take on.

Comments from “it makes sense to move on,” to “keep my quarterback’s name out your mouth” filled social media after Ian Rapoport’s interview. It is no coincidence that multiple outlets are now reporting on what it would take for Aaron Rodgers to be traded. The Green Bay Packers will, at the very least. be picking up the phone any time a team comes with an offer. Jordan Love has made it clear that he wants to play in 2023. If the Packers find the right suitor, the Love era could be a full go in 2023.

Arron Rogers, isn’t involved with anyone but HIMSELF. He’s strange and had no problem exposing his teammates and their families to COVID all the time suggesting he was inoculated. If the GREEN BAY executives had any BALLS they would have canned him. He’s a LEADER ???? Not in my world.
