Green Bay Packers fans have been long hoping that the team is close to signing Jordan Love to a long-term contract. Those hopes were founded from the very comments from the front office and Love himself.
Recent comments from Love had fans reacting accordingly on social media.

Love recently did an “Ask Me Anything” video interview with Bleacher Report. During the segment, he was asked what signing a contract extension with the Packers would mean to him.
He replied, “That would mean a lot to me. That would be awesome. You know, being able to sign an extension with the team that drafted you, I feel is something that all players dream of. Be able to stay in that same situation, same team, the organization that believed in you from day one.
“So I am definitely looking forward to that. Hopefully it happens in the future, but I am very excited for the upcoming season and what is in store for our team and to be able to solidify something long-term here in Green Bay.”
It sounds like negotiations are still ongoing, but that Love definitely wants his future to take place with the Packers organization.
After seeing what he did last year, Green Bay undoubtedly wants that too.

Jordan Love deserves to be paid big bag. He’s confident, determined and skillful accurate throwing the ball. If coaching staff don’t appreciate this young franchise QB other NFL teams would take and pay him without second thoughts.
