NFL News: Preston Smith and the Green Bay Packers will take on the Chicago Bears week one of the 2023 NFL season. That match is set for September 10th, 2023 at 3:25 CT at Solider Field. There has already been a substantial amount of trash talk between Bears and Packers fans leading up to week one. Even players have gotten into it here and there. Today, Preston Smith added to that trash talk, and it was great.
Preston Smith Reminds Bears Fans He Has Never Lost To Chicago
During an appearance on NFL Total Access, Preston Smith wasted no time reminding people he has yet to lose to that team from Illinois:
“Never in my career have I lost to the Bears.”

Smith isn’t wrong. He joined the Packers during the 2019 season and the Packers have rattled off eight wins in a row during that stretch. Smith, however, has only played in six of those eight games since 2019. In those six games he has recorded 29 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown. Smith certainly puts on some of his best performances during the teams’ biggest rivalries. Look for Preston Smith to shine once again in week one.
