Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers are finished with the practice portion of OTAs this spring. He gave the team an important deadline before the Packers’ practice Wednesday. LaFleur chose to cancel the team’s scheduled practice Thursday in favor of a team bonding activity.
The Packers have reportedly seen up-and-down performances from their new starting quarterback Jordan Love during OTAs. The coaching staff also had to get their rookie pass catchers, who are expected to play significant snaps this season, up to speed with their NFL playbook. After the team bonding activity Thursday, the team will get a much-needed break before the real work begins–training camp.

This camp will be an important one for their young team. Love will need to get as many reps as possible with his wide receivers and tight ends before their Week 1 matchup with the Chicago Bears. Packers fans will also want to keep tabs on how first-round rookie Lukas Van Ness progresses once the pads come on.
