The Green Bay Packers gave an update on injuries a few days before their training camp begins. One player many fans were keeping an eye on this offseason is Rashan Gary. The pass rusher tore his ACL in Week 9 last season.
He missed practices during the Packers OTAs this spring. Gary said he wasn’t sure when he’d be ready to play for the Packers again. But it won’t be at the start of training camp next week.
Update given on Green Bay Packers PUP list
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Gary was one of four Packers players placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Gary joins wide receiver Jeff Cotton, center Jake Hanson, and defensive back Eric Stokes as players who will start the Packers training camp on the PUP list.

Wide receiver Grant DuBose and tight end Carmen McDonald will start camp on the declared non-football injury list.
Stokes’ placement on the PUP list isn’t a big surprise, either. He said he was just happy to be walking when Stokes gave an interview during OTAs.
The Packers, who are full of young talent this season, are relying on their veteran players to step it up if the team wants to compete for a playoff spot. However, with a little over a month to go before the regular season, the Packers are still dealing with critical injuries that derailed their season in 2022.
