The Green Bay Packers took a trip to the jungle for a joint practice with the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of their preseason matchup on Friday. Joint practices have a history of getting chippy, but the Packers saw their star guard Elgton Jenkins get into multiple scuffles on Wednesday.
Elgton Jenkins in the middle of two Green Bay Packers fights

Elgton Jenkins is not the kind of player that teams want to mess with. For reference, Jenkins went toe-for-toe in an exchange with Aaron Donald during a playoff game. Today, multiple Green Bay Packers beat reporters told of Jenkins getting into it with the Bengals. The first fight resulted in a big scuffle that took a while to break up.
🚨FIGHT🚨
Multiple swings thrown. I saw Elgton Jenkins in there. Runyan and Doubs were on the ground. Didn’t see Bengals in the mix but the skirmish lasted a while.

The fight took place after Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt was put on his backside by Elgton Jenkins blocking a screen. Pratt got up and took a swing at Jenkins leading to the scuffle per Tom Silverstein. Jenkins was taken aside to calm down and then he came back in. However, there was clearly still some bad blood.

Jenkins swings at Reader’s head and connects.
Jenkins is out of the drill now. OL coach Luke Butkus escorts him out.

The second fight came when Elgton Jenkins took a swing at D.J. Reader. Jenkins day was done and the Green Bay Packers did not have him for the remainder of their joint practice. The Packers coaches made the decision to pull Jenkins after his second altercation in a short span of time. Surely, the Packers do not want players fighting in general, but they especially do not want their superstar left guard swinging at helmets with his bare hands.
Although the first fight was instigated by the Bengals, Jenkins seemed at fault the second time.
