Mason Crosbys’ time with the Green Bay Packers appears all but over, with a few weeks left until the regular season starts. The Packers drafted rookie Anders Carlson as Crosbys’ replacement. While Carlson struggled in his preseason debut Friday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, the team is sticking with their rookie kicker.

Crosby still wants to play football. But it won’t be in a green and gold uniform. There are several NFL teams with kickers who are performing poorly in the preseason.
Here are the top three NFL options for Crosby to sign with this season.

Many fans in Cleveland want the Browns to bring in a new kicker after Cade York missed his only two field goals in their first preseason game. York had a reasonable rookie campaign in 2022. He finished 24-of-32 on field goals (75%) and went 35-of-37 on extra points.
The Browns want more consistency out of their kicker. York was 9-of-12 from field goal distances of 30-39 yards last season.
Crosby could be that guy. He made 82 percent of his field goals last season and was a perfect 8-of-8 from 30-39 yards in 2022.
The Browns should be in the mix to make the playoffs in a crowded AFC North this season. Crosbys’ leg could be the difference between making the playoffs or not.
