The Green Bay Packers may have dipped into free agency this off-season, but don’t get it twisted. They have a long history of paying their own. Countless stars who have been drafted by the Packers over the years received a second or even third contract with the team.
It happened again today.
The Green Bay Packers Commit To Three Year, $64 Million Deal

According to NFL Analyst Adam Schefter:
Packers Pro-Bowl nose tackle Kenny Clark signed a three-year, $64 million extension today with Green Bay, per sources.
The deal was negotiated by @Wasserman agents @DHendrickson41 and @CJLaBoy and pays Clark $29 million in 2024 and could bring his career earnings to over $150 million.
Clark made the switch from nose tackle to defensive end last season and had a great season.
In 2023, Clark had 7.5 sacks, ranking third on the team. In addition, Clark led the Packers with nine tackles for loss.
In addition to 16 quarterback hits, Clark also had two forced fumbles and three passes defensed. The league data shows Green Bay’s run defense was 0.18 yards per play better when Clark was on the field, and its pass defense was 0.51 yards per play better.
His season was capped by joining Henry Jordan (1960-61, 1963, 1966) as one of only two Packers defensive tackles to make three-plus Pro Bowls.
“As far as myself? It’s definitely right at the top,” Clark said of his 2023 season. “Just proud about how I played, how I led this team and just looking forward into the future, knowing that we’ve got something good, knowing that I’ve got something to build up off of. Excited about what we could do.”
This extension is massive for the defense and the longevity of this defensive line.
