NFL: The Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins are two franchises headed into a very interesting 2023 season. The Dolphins have a chance to prove to the league that Tua Tagovailoa can be the face of their franchise. The Packers on the other hand, are trying to figure out if they have their third franchise quarterback in a row on their team in Jordan Love. As it turns out, the two teams could help each other out this off-season after a brutal injury.
Green Bay Packers Trade David Bakhtiari To The Miami Dolphins After They Lose Their Starting Left Tackle (NFL)
According to multiple posts on social media, Miami Dolphins star left tackle Terron Armstead injured his right leg during his first snap of 11 on 11 drills at today’s joint practice with the Houston Texans.
Armstead was unable to put any weight on his leg and was also unable to straighten his knee to put sneakers on after his practice cleats were removed. He was ultimately taken back into the team’s locker room via a cart. Armstead later claimed that he is going to try to “be good” for week one, however, there is no official word from the team on that yet.
Given the fact that the Dolphins went 1-3 last year without Armstead, trading for a star left tackle may be something they want to consider. For the Packers? They could get draft capital and veteran wide receiver to help their offense immediately.

The Green Bay Packers Land Wide Receiver Cedrick Wilson And Draft Capital In Trade Proposal With Miami Dolphins
According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are not opposed to the idea of keeping Wilson on the team, but they are willing to listen to trade options should they come up. Here is our trade proposal that involves both David Bakhtiari and Cedrick Wilson:
Green Bay Packers Receive:
- Wide Receiver Cedrick Wilson
- 2024 Second Round Draft Pick
Miami Dolphins Recevie:
- Left Tackle David Bakhtiari
Wilson broke onto the scene in 2021 with the Dallas Cowboys. That year he ended with 45 receptions, 602 yards, and six touchdowns. That season earned him the three-year contract with the Dolphins. However, 2022 was a very down year for the wide receiver after being buried on the depth chart. With Wilson’s value seemingly so low right now, it could be a perfect time to get him and some draft capital for a left tackle who may not even be on the team next year.
