The World Champion Milwaukee Bucks welcome the Brooklyn Nets to Fiserv Forum for the 2021-22 NBA season opener. These two teams went blow for blow a few months ago in the conference semifinals. That series was arguably the best series of the playoffs and those two teams get to put on a show for the season opener.
The single biggest storyline is going to be the availability of Kyrie Irving. We know that Irving won’t be playing in this game, or any game for the foreseeable future. This is a statement from Nets GM Sean Marks.

The Milwaukee Bucks have three players who won’t be in uniform for the season opener. Fan favorite Bobby Portis is dealing with a hamstring injury. Rodney Hood and Semi Ojeleye are listed as being out as well. Both Hood and Ojeleye are new to the team this season.
TNT will be broadcasting the game to a national TV audience at 6:30 pm CT, but you can bet that Fiserv Forum will be rocking to a sold out crowd. News dropped today that for the first time in franchise history, the Bucks have sold out of their season tickets.

The Bucks are currently one point favorites over the Nets with an over/under of 237.5. With a high total, fireworks could certainly happen, especially with the scoring ability of Kevin Durant, James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.
