The Milwaukee Bucks have featured in more than a few NBA rumors of late. A lot of the buzz has centered around veteran big man Brook Lopez, who is now set to enter NBA free agency come Friday. The 35-year-old’s contract with the Bucks has come to an end at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, thereby allowing him to potentially sign with any team he so chooses.
At this point, it appears that the Bucks remain in the driver’s seat to retain Brook Lopez’s services. Nevertheless, this has not prevented opposing teams from doing their due diligence on the former All-Star. According to multiple reports, this includes the Los Angeles Lakers, who for their part, are looking to shore up their frontcourt by recruiting a big man via free agency.

NBA Rumors
The Lakers aren’t the only team who are looking to acquire Lopez in free agency. This does not come as a surprise considering how Lopez still remains to be one of the best rim-protectors in the NBA today, among other things.
However, Bucks fans had quite a few things to say about NBA rumors pertaining to Lopez potentially taking his talents back to Hollywood. The supporters took to Twitter to share their brutally honest thoughts on this prospect:

It is clear that a lot of fans don’t believe this is going to go down. The keyboard warriors also went out of their way to troll the Lakers ahead of what they expect will be another fruitless chase.
Brook Lopez Has History With The Lakers
Lakers fans, on the other hand, had a completely opposing view. Some supporters could not help but dream about a frontcourt pairing of Lopez and Anthony Davis. In their minds, signing Lopez would be a great move for LA:

This would not be Brook’s first rodeo in Hollywood. The 7-foot center spent a season with the Lakers a few years ago in what turned out to be a forgettable stint. He ended up leaving LA after just one season to sign with the Bucks in NBA free agency.
Lakers fans are now wishing that it’s going to be the other way around this time. They are also hoping that should Lopez decide to come back, he’s going to make a much bigger impact on the squad than he did some six years ago.
