New Milwaukee Bucks recruit Gary Trent Jr. wasted no time getting himself acquainted with his new team after officially signing a one-year contract on Saturday. He went straight to support his new team in the NBA Summer League as they took on the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
Speaking on the game broadcast, Trent sounded off on how excited he is to get things going in Milwaukee.

When asked to share his thoughts on the Bucks’ roster this coming season, Trent expressed how much he’s looking forward to being able to bring what he can to the table for his new squad.
“I’m getting an opportunity of a lifetime,” he said. “I get to join a championship organization with a Hall of Fame player. … Being able to just come gel with what they already got. Bring in my personality, my hard work, my mindset. It’s gonna be a beautiful thing. I’m super excited and I can’t wait.”
The Bucks signed Trent for a reason and they have major expectations on the former Duke standout. Based on his statement here, it is clear that Trent is very much looking forward to the opportunity to prove his worth.
The Damian Lillard Connection

Trent then went on to speak about the chemistry he expects to have with the Bucks. According to the 6-foot-5 swingman, his relationship with superstar point guard Damian Lillard is something he expects to work in his and the team’s favor this coming season.
“I already got a relationship with Dame,” he said. “I started my rookie season in Portland, so the chemistry’s there. So, it’s good.”
