NBA rumors: You can definitely say that it’s Draymond Green’s fault that he’s making headlines for all the wrong reasons again of late. After all, it was he who so openly talked about his infamous punch on ex-Golden State Warriors teammate Jordan Poole from one year ago. This pretty much brought their old beef back to life, which for their part, the Warriors could obviously do without.
NBA Rumors: Draymond Green’s Non-Relationship With Jonathan Kuminga Is Problem for Warriors
At this point, however, there seems to be another manifestation of the Jordan Poole issue within the Warriors. According to Dubs reporter Monte Poole of NBCS, Draymond’s non-relationship with Jonathan Kuminga has emerged as a real issue for Golden State:
“[Draymond Green & Jonathan Kuminga’s non-relationship] is a problem and it can only be fixed by Draymond,” Monte Poole said, via 95.7 The Game on Twitter. “The new contract implies the Warriors believe he can fix it, but around the league there are a lot of people saying ‘I don’t know.'”
Given that this is now the second teammate he’s had beef with, could it be that Draymond Green is the problem? He seems to have no issue with the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, or perhaps the other stars on the team have just learned to cope with Green. It’s also possible that the former Defensive Player of the Year treats the younger players on the squad differently. Whatever the case might be, you can be sure that the Warriors will be doing everything in their power not to have a repeat of that nasty Jordan Poole incident.
NBA Rumors: No Beef on Bucks
The good news for Milwaukee Bucks fans is that there’s no such nonsense within their squad — or at least as far as I know.
This has a lot to do with the leadership on the team. Giannis Antetokounmpo is basically just a good dude and he’s taken on the role as the Bucks’ talisman excellently. These types of beef and conflict within the squad just don’t sit well with Giannis, and obviously, he leads by example too by treating every single person on the team the same way — regardless of their star status.
