NBA rumors: The Milwaukee Bucks still have one spot to fill. It’s very much possible that they enter the new season keeping that final spot open, but at the same time, there is still a myriad of available options in NBA free agency that could potentially fill the team’s current needs.
NBA Rumors: Kendrick Nunn Could Fill Bucks’ Need for Backup PG

Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn is now being linked to the Bucks. Corey Moen of Fansided recently listed a couple of options for Milwaukee as they look to add more depth to their backcourt rotation. One of those players is Nunn, whose contract with the Washington Wizards ran out at the end of this past season.
Nunn had a noteworthy start to his career with the Miami Heat, putting up averages of 15.0 points on 45.8 percent shooting, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, while also connecting on 2.1 triples on a respectable 36.4 percent clip.
In 2021, Nunn signed with the Lakers as a free agent where he would end up missing an entire season due to a lingering knee injury. He played 39 games for LA this season before they shipped him off to the Wizards as part of the Rui Hachimura trade.
Right now, Nunn remains one of the top guard options that is still available in free agency. The Bucks could do far worse.
NBA Rumors: Kendrick Nunn Would be Upgrade Over AJ Green

Right now, Jrue Holiday’s primary backup at point guard is AJ Green, who signed an extension with the Bucks this summer. In his debut campaign last season, the 23-year-old put up averages of 4.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per contest. Green is not a bad option as a backup, but at the same time, there’s also no denying that Kendrick Nunn could prove to be a considerable upgrade for Milwaukee. Nunn could be available for cheap too, and the Bucks can probably sign him on a one-year deal, making this a potentially low-risk, high-reward move for them.
