NBA news: The Denver Nuggets’ recent title run will go down in history as one of the most memorable championships in recent years. One of the highlights of their run was how they utterly embarrassed LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals via a clean 4-0 sweep. Bruce Brown remembers that series well.
NBA News: Bruce Brown Throws Shade At Lakers, Suns

Now with the Indiana Pacers, Brown recently took some time to look back at Denver’s unforgettable championship-winning season. When asked to discuss what he felt was their toughest series in the West, the 26-year-old easily picked the Minnesota Timberwolves. Brown had no issue taking some not-so-veiled shots at both the Lakers and the Phoenix Suns:
“I would say our toughest series was Minnesota,” Brown said. “… Phoenix it was just blowouts each game … [Lakers] It never felt like we were gonna lose any game. Even when they went on their little run. Austin Reaves was hitting threes. It never felt like, ‘Uh oh, we about to lose. Yeah, I’ll take care of this s**t.'”

While this will likely draw the ire of both Lakers and Suns fans everywhere, the truth is, Bruce Brown is just spitting facts here.
NBA News: Bruce Brown Linked To Bucks Before Signing With Pacers

After playing a key role in Denver’s majestic title run, Bruce Brown got himself paid. He secured the bag with the Indiana Pacers in NBA free agency, which came out to the tune of $45 million for two years.
Before he picked the Pacers, though, Brown was also linked to the Milwaukee Bucks, among other teams. The 6-foot-4 guard/forward would have slotted in well alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Brown proved that he was a great option on offense behind the stars in Denver, and he could have played a similar role in Milwaukee.
In the end, though, the money was just too much. Even if they did their due diligence, the Bucks simply couldn’t afford Bruce Brown.
