MLB Rumors: Shoehi Ohtani will be the talk across baseball over the next few weeks. The Los Angeles Angels have finally announced that they are ready to listen to trade offers for their two-way superstar. They also revealed what the starting point for those conversations will be. To no one’s surprise the cost is extremely high.

Per Jon Morosi the Angels are now in listening mode, but suitors should come prepared to part ways with a ton of prospect capital. In order to start conversations a team must be willing to part ways with multiple top 100 prospects.
If this report is true and the Angels are interested in top 100 prospects who could be on the fast track to the big leagues, the Toronto Blue Jays, Atlanta Braves, and Miami Marlins would immediately be excluded from Shoehi Ohtani talks due to only have one top 100 prospect each.
On the flip side there are multiple teams with top 100 prospects. It will be interesting to see if any team is willing to meet the Angels high demands for two months worth of games. If no deal is done Shoehi Ohtani will be a free agent at seasons end and could sign with anyone.
