There will be many different NBA Mock Draft scenarios for the Milwaukee Bucks between now and the NBA Draft. Power forward and shooting guard are two of the primary positions of need for the Bucks this offseason. They could also use help at back point guard because they did not have enough insurance a season ago for Damian Lillard.
General manager Jon Horst could also make some trades on draft day or at other points during the 2024 offseason for the Milwaukee Bucks. Horst needs to draft some young players and the Bucks need to develop them.

Horst drafted Marjon Beauchamp 24th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. He is only 23 years old and needs to be in the rotation more next season. Beauchamp played in 48 games during the regular season for the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 4.4 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 0.6 APG, 0.1 BPG, and 0.3 SPG.
The Milwaukee Bucks Select G-League Ignite Power Forward Tyler Smith In the Latest 2024 NBA Mock Draft

Smith is one of the power forwards that the Bucks have been keeping an eye on during the 2024 NBA Draft Process. In the latest CBS Sports Mock Draft by Travis Branham, he has the Milwaukee Bucks selecting Tyler Smith with the 23rd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Branham said about the Bucks selecting Smith:
“The Bucks need a versatile, scoring forward who can hit shots and develop on this roster. Smith, who spent the 2023-24 season with G League Ignite, is a southpaw with size and a smooth stroke who injects some scoring versatility and adds roster depth.”
Tyler Smith would be a good option for them, especially if they were to trade Sixth Man of the Year Finalist Bobby Portis Jr. in the offseason. Smith last season with the G-League Ignite averaged 13.4 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 1.2 APG. He also shot 36.4% from three-point land.
According to CBS Sports, Tyler Smith is the 22nd-ranked prospect in this year’s draft and he is also the fourth-ranked power forward. Smith will not be the only power forward that the Bucks will look to take in this year’s draft.

They will also have some other decisions to make. General manager Jon Horst will need to find a Brook Lopez replacement and this could be the pick to do it. Yves Missi from Baylor and Kyle Filipowski are two players at the center position that the Bucks could select. Tyler Smith would not be a bad choice for the Milwaukee Bucks’ 23rd overall, but they would need to play him right away in the NBA.
