The Milwaukee Bucks ended up with two second round picks in the 2023 NBA Draft last night. After obtaining the 36th overall pick from the Orlando Magic, the Bucks drafted Andre Jackson Jr. out of the University of Connecticut. They then used the 58th (and last) pick in the draft to take Chris Livingston out of Kentucky.
As it turned out, the Bucks were not done adding young players. After the 2023 NBA Draft ended, the Bucks agreed to a two-way contract with Omari Moore out of San Jose State. In the wee hours of the morning, Shams Charania announced yet another deal.

As Charania reports, the Bucks have come to an agreement with Drew Timme out of Gonzaga on an Exhibit-10 contract.
What Is an Exhibit-10 Contract in the NBA?

An exhibit-10 contract is a deal where the signed player is allowed to workout with the team and participate in the NBA Summer League. At the conclusion of the Summer League, the player’s contract expires. He can either become a free agent, sign a two-way contract, or sign a full contract with the team.
Why Are the Milwaukee Bucks Interested in Drew Timme?

Last season at Gonzaga, Drew Timme averaged 21.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game. A 6’10” forward/center, Timme is a bit undersized for centers in the NBA, but has a nice post game that allows him to do well against bigger opponents.
So why wasn’t he drafted? A 21-point average and 7.5 rebounds per game in a respectable conference is nothing to write off.
Today’s NBA is all about shooting. Even big men are valued more if they can shoot well. This is where Timme falls short.
A more traditional big man, Timme shot just 16.7% from three last season. He also shot just 63.2% from the free throw line.
Will Timme make enough of a push for the Bucks’ roster? He can really help himself by developing a jump shot, but a lot of it may defend on his defense and low post game. Milwaukee is thin at center, even if/when Brook Lopez returns, so there may end up being a spot for him.
