An interesting scenario for Patrick Beverley as he receives his second technical foul call this season as the Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, 118-93. Despite the many amazing moments made in play, one of the most memorable comes from Beverley after receiving a technical foul.

Beverley played 15 minutes in Sunday’s win for Milwaukee, recording one point, four rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. In those 15 minutes of play, he was whistled for a tech after calling OKC’s guard Josh Giddey “soft.”
Beverley was put on Giddey defend mode in the fourth quarter and as he tightly defended him, Giddey attempted a pass to Aaron Wiggins, but the play was quickly halted as the ref blew his whistle to issue a technical foul on Beverley.

Once the game was over, Beverley took to Twitter to express his disappointment (and humor) with this call, writing:

This isn’t the first time Patrick Beverley has said something about Josh Giddey, however. Earlier this year, Beverley talked on his podcast about Giddey’s alleged involvement in an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Beverley talked about how surprised he was at how quiet the league is trying to make this situation:
“I’m not gonna duck smoke,” Beverley said. “Like, when they make the clip about Josh Giddey and the young girl and they just dead quiet, they don’t wanna talk about it no more. I say all the things that people want to say. People don’t like me anyways, so I just give my truth.”
