There’s going to be a lot at stake on Monday night when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Indiana Pacers at the Fiserv Forum for New Year’s Day. These two teams have some bad blood brewing between them stemming from their highly controversial previous meeting.
For their part, the Bucks will be a bit undermanned when they take the court after it was confirmed that they will be without one of their rotation players for Monday’s contest.
Milwaukee Bucks Rule Out MarJon Beauchamp
Second-year forward MarJon Beauchamp was initially tagged as questionable to play due to a non-COVID illness. The team has not provided too many details about the injury/illness, but it has been deemed serious enough to force the 23-year-old to sit out Monday’s game.
Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin revealed just before tip-off that Beauchamp will now be sitting out against the Pacers. This comes via team insider Eric Nehm of The Athletic:

Beauchamp looked fine in Milwaukee’s last game — a 119-111 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday — scoring five points in 11 minutes off the bench.
His next chance to suit up will be on Wednesday in a rematch against the Pacers in Indiana.
