Giannis Antetokounmpo had another dominant performance on Friday night as he led the Milwaukee Bucks to a convincing 119-111 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The former back-to-back MVP finished with a game-high 34 points (tied with Donovan Mitchell) on 14-of-22 shooting, to go along with 16 rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 37 minutes of action.
That’s now nine wins in their last 10 games for the Bucks, who have now improved to 24-8 after Friday’s victory.
Giannis in Jovial Mood After Win Vs. Cavs

I guess you would be in a jovial mood too after ending 2023 on a high note. In fact, Giannis had to bust out some of his dance moves after the final buzzer of Friday’s contest:
Great win to close out 2023. See you in 2024! 🕺🏾🕺🏾 pic.twitter.com/nC2PGSSPzS

It was far from an easy win for the Bucks, though, who had to dig deep in the second half to overcome Cleveland’s advantage. This was the fourth and final game of Milwaukee’s four-game road stand, so you have to give Giannis and Co. a lot of credit for their perseverance against the Cavs.
Next Up for Milwaukee Bucks: Indiana Pacers

Coming up next for the Bucks is a highly-anticipated showdown against the Indiana Pacers on New Year’s Day. A brawl nearly broke out the last time these two teams faced each other on the basketball court after the Pacers took away Antetokounmpo’s 64-point career-high game ball.
Both sides will probably deny it, but it’s hard to believe that there’s not a single ounce of bad blood between these two Central Division rivals.
