Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo added another feather to his cap on Wednesday night after it was announced that the eight-time All-Star has been included in the All-NBA first team. This is the sixth consecutive year Antetokounmpo has received this incredible honor and the eighth time in his career that he’s been voted into an All-NBA squad.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo Joins Elite Club

Not too many players in the history of the NBA have reached the same heights Giannis did on Wednesday. In fact, only eight other superstars have ever been named as part of the All-NBA first team for six consecutive years. This elite group boasts some of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball, including the top two GOATs in LeBron James and Michael Jordan (h/t Bucks reporter Nathan Marzion on X, formerly Twitter):
Giannis is the 9th player since the merger (1976) to be named First Team All-NBA six years in a row.
The list:

– LeBron James
– Kobe Bryant

That is, without a shadow of a doubt, quite the company for Antetokounmpo.

You have to note that all the players on the above list are already Hall of Famers. The only exception is LeBron, who is unquestionably going to be a first-ballot HoF-er once he becomes eligible. At this point in his career, there is also very little doubt that Anteetokounmpo is also well on his way to following LeBron’s footsteps all the way to the Hall.
