Milwaukee Bucks superstar Damian Lillard recently made all sorts of headlines after renowned ESPN broadcaster Stephen A. Smith floated the idea of trading away the eight-time All-Star this summer if the Bucks lose to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the Playoffs.
Lillard himself reacted to Smith’s hot take with a cryptic response, which added a layer of intrigue surrounding this compelling storyline. As if that wasn’t enough, a Dame confidant has now shared his two cents worth on the issue at hand as this narrative continues to pick up steam.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Damian Lillard Unhappy in Milwaukee?
According to Stephen A, the reason why the Bucks must trade Lillard in the offseason is because he isn’t happy in Milwaukee. To be fair, it seemed more like an opinion from the NBA analyst as opposed to Smith revealing a bombshell from a trusted source.
Lillard’s own cousin has also responded to Stephen A’s claim, and Bucks fans will be glad to know that Dame’s confidant has debunked this audacious take:
Brookfield duece is Dame’s cousin if I’m not mistaken. At the very least he’s a very close friend https://t.co/J825VOhxri

More importantly, Dame’s own response appears to have also discredited Smith’s statement. Lillard’s comment on the post read “Captain Planet,” which could very well be a play on words for the term “cap.” This falls in line with his cousin’s claim as well.
For those that require context, the term “cap” is slang for something being false or untrue. Apparently, this appears to be the exact nature of Stephen A’s unsubstantiated claim about Lillard’s level of happiness in Milwaukee.
