The Milwaukee Bucks will be shorthanded on Tuesday night when they host the New York Knicks in the quarterfinal of the NBA’s In-Season Tournament. Jae Crowder and Pat Connaugthon will not be available as both veterans nurse respective injuries that have kept them out for the past several games.
The Bucks, however, have gotten a bit of a boost right before tip-off. This comes in the form of rookie Andre Jackson Jr.
Milwaukee Bucks Rookie Andre Jackson Jr. Good to Go Vs. Knicks
Jackson missed Milwaukee’s last game — a 132-121 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday — due to lower back spasms. He was initially listed as questionable to play for Tuesday’s showdown, but Bucks fans will be glad to know that he’s now good to go.
Head coach Adrian Griffin confirmed less than two hours prior to tip-off that Jackson will be available to play against the Knicks:

Jackson is no star, but he has been making a bit of waves of late. The 22-year-old is also expected to get a bigger role in the interim amid the team’s injury woes in the wing position.
In 15 appearances this season (he’s had three starts, by the way), the rookie has put up averages of 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game. There’s no denying that the numbers have been unimpressive, but Jackson is the type of player whose contributions go beyond the box score.
