Milwaukee Bucks veteran Malik Beasley has been taking a lot of stick of late. So much so, that some folks have already begun questioning if he deserves a spot in the team’s starting lineup alongside Milwaukee’s stars.
It appears that Beasley has heard all the noise and he responded with an incredible performance on Wednesday night against the Toronto Raptors.
Malik Beasley Draws High Praise from Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach

Beasley went off for 30 points against Toronto on no less than eight three-pointers. The Bucks needed the other guys to step up to the plate with Giannis Antetokounmpo out injured, and it is clear that Beasley got the memo.
After Beasley’s sharpshooting heroics in the Bucks’ 128-112 victory in Toronto, head coach Adrian Griffin could not help but sing the veteran’s praises. Coach Griff sounded off on Beasley’s key role in the victory:
“We needed every three that he made,” Griffin said. “Even coming out timeout. I drew up a play for him and we needed a bucket. We were kind of floating along there and they were getting some momentum, so he made a lot of timely shots. And that’s what he’s here for.”

Coach Griff wasn’t done. He had more praise for Beasley as he talked up the professionalism the 26-year-old brings to the table day in and day out:
“He’s an unbelievable shooter, works extremely hard and he’s trying his hardest on the defensive end,” Griffin continued. “And he’s giving great effort. That’s all you can ask from someone like ‘Beas.’ He’s totally bought in, playing hard, trying to take the tough assignments on the defensive end and you see what he can do when he gets clean looks.”

Beasley is the type of player who just stays ready. He is well aware of how his chances will come and how he just needs to take advantage of the same when they do. This is exactly what he did against the Raptors on Wednesday night.
