Milwaukee Bucks: Day 2 of the regular season is in the books. One of the highlights of the evening was a matchup between Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks taking on the San Antonio Spurs in what was the first-ever NBA game of highly-touted rookie Victor Wembanyama.
It was Luka who stole headlines, though, with a magnificent performance in his season debut, leading the Mavs to a 126-119 victory in San Antonio.
Luka Doncic Joins Milwaukee Bucks Icons on 3-Man List

Doncic put on a show in this one, finishing with 33 points on 13-of-25 shooting, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, and three triples in 34 minutes of action. It was yet another show-stopping display from the Mavs superstar.
Thanks to his 30-point triple-double, Doncic joined Bucks icons Giannis Antetokounmpo and Oscar Robertson in an elite three-man list:
Luka becomes just the 3rd player in NBA History to have a 30+ point triple-double in a season opener, joining:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (30 PTS, 13 REB, 11 AST – 2019)
Oscar Robertson (37 PTS, 10 REB, 10 AST – 1966)
Oscar Robertson (35 PTS, 15 REB, 13 AST – 1961) https://t.co/fnVSJ3iDjc— NBA History (@NBAHistory) October 26, 2023
Those are obviously some big names, and it goes without saying that this is an insanely difficult task to achieve. Luka Doncic is the real deal.

Victor Wembanyama Makes NBA Debut

All eyes were on Victor Wembanyama as well as the French phenom finally made his NBA debut on Wednesday night. The 19-year-old was in foul trouble for most of the game, but he was able to salvage his performance to close out the game with 15 points on 6-of-9 from the floor, three triples, five boards, two dimes, two steals, and a block in just 23 minutes of play.
It wasn’t exactly a mind-blowing debut from the No. 1 overall pick, but much like what Doncic proved in the season-opener, it appears that Wemby is going to live up to all the hype.
