The Milwaukee Bucks play their second game in two nights on Sunday when they take on the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.
Given his history this season, you just know that Khris Middleton is going to be a name to watch in back-to-back sets in terms of his playing status for the Bucks. True enough, the three-time All-Star was indeed listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday’s clash, and he will now be forced to sit on the sidelines as part of his injury management.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton OUT Vs. Jazz
According to the official injury report, Middleton will be unavailable on Sunday against Utah. The Bucks have listed him as out, with his right knee injury management being the official reason for this latest absence.
This does not come as a surprise considering how Middleton has played in just one back-to-back set for the Bucks all season long. This was in early January when he took the floor for just 15 minutes in the second half of a back-to-back against the San Antonio Spurs.
Middleton hasn’t been hindered by his surgically repaired knee when he’s on the floor, but it is clear that Milwaukee is still closely monitoring the situation.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard Also Listed on Injury Report
Apart from Middleton, Milwaukee’s two main superstars, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, are both also listed on the injury report against the Jazz. Giannis is probable with a knee issue, while Lillard is considered questionable with a left ankle sprain. Brook Lopez is also out of commission on Sunday due to personal reasons.
At this point, the Bucks could be extremely shorthanded on Sunday night.
