Giannis Antetokounmpo was not able to suit up on Sunday in the Milwaukee Bucks preseason debut against the Chicago Bulls. However, the Bucks talisman was courtside cheering his teammates on as they took down their central division rivals, 105-102.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Reacts to Andre Jackson Jr’s Dunk

At this point, it’s safe to say that Giannis enjoyed the festivities of Sunday’s preseason contest, albeit from a spectator’s point of view. The former back-to-back NBA MVP was on his feet on more than a few occasions in this one, but it’s his reaction to highly-touted rookie Andre Jackson Jr.’s massive slam that completely blew up on social media.
Jackson took a pass from Giannis’ brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo on a fastbreak play. The 21-year-old took full advantage of his clear path to the basket by delivering a thunderous one-handed windmill slam — much to the delight of Giannis:

Needless to say, Antetokounmpo liked that dunk from his young teammate.
Will Giannis Play Vs. Grizzlies?

Right now, Giannis appears to have fully recovered from his offseason knee surgery. The Bucks opted to give him the night off on Sunday for rest purposes, which was also the case for newly acquired superstar Damian Lillard.
Milwaukee returns to action on Tuesday in their second preseason contest, this time taking on the Memphis Grizzlies. There is no official word on Antetokounmpo’s (or Lillard’s) status for that one as of writing, but it seems that all signs are pointing to the Bucks finally unleashing their newly formed tandem for the first time come Tuesday night.
