The Milwaukee Bucks won their sixth game in a row and improved to 10-9 on the season with their 124-114 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night. Milwaukee, once again, was without the services of three-time All-Star Khris Middleton, who is still getting into playing shape after his recovery from offseason surgery on both of his ankles took longer than expected.
However, the Bucks did have Giannis Antetokounmpo back after he missed their previous game against the Miami Heat with a knee injury. The two-time NBA has had a great deal of success against the Wizards in his career, and he continued that trend on Saturday.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Notched His 48th Career Triple-Double
There is very little debate that the Greek Freak is the greatest player in franchise history. Not even 30 years old yet (at least for the next five days), Giannis is already the franchise’s all-time leader in several categories, including points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and many others.
One of these other categories is triple-doubles. The two-time NBA MVP recorded his first career 40-point triple-double on Saturday against the Wizards, racking up 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. It was the 48th triple-double of his career, extending his franchise record.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is second on Milwaukee’s all-time list with eight. Oscar Robertson, known for his triple-doubles early in his career, only had five during his time with the Bucks.
Damian Lillard Also Had a Great Game for the Milwaukee Bucks
In addition to Giannis’ brilliant performance, eight-time All-Star point guard Damian Lillard had another big night himself. He added 25 points, five rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals. It was the fifth time in Milwaukee’s past six games that Lillard had 10 or more assists.
Brook Lopez added 18 points, three assists, and three blocks on the night as well. Taurean Prince continued his hot shooting as of late, knocking down three of his four three-point attempts on his way to 11 points.
AJ Green came off the bench to score 13 points before fouling out late in the game.
