Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry shared a moment together on Saturday during the Milwaukee Bucks’ showdown with the Golden State Warriors. Now, a photo of the two from that moment has fans dreaming of a partnership between them.
On Saturday, the Bucks’ X (formerly Twitter) account shared a photo of Antetokounmpo and Curry, who was on street clothes after he was given the night off by the Warriors to rest. In the said picture, the Dubs sharpshooter was seen giving the Greek Freak a warm look as they both show a smile.

Sure enough, it got everyone talking about the two. While the usual jokes about “finding someone who looks at you the same way Steph looks at Giannis” flooded the comments section, there were a lot of fans who also shared their dreams of seeing the two become teammates in Milwaukee–no matter how big of a longshot it may be.
“Curry Dame & Giannis?” a fan commented along with a gif of Bucks mascot Bango thinking. Another one shared the same sentiments, “Curry, Dame, Khris, Giannis we’ll be there.”
An excited supporter furthered, “Ohhhhh Steph will BE a Milwaukee Buck.”
“If they team up it’s over for the league,” a commenter added.
A fourth fan even went as far as to suggesting that the Bucks could trade Damian Lillard for Stephen Curry in the offseason so he and Giannis Antetokounmpo can team up, writing: “When Steph askes for a trade in the summer and goes to the Bucks for Dame.”
It’s definitely interesting to envision what a partnership of Curry and Antetokounmpo can do. Imagine if the Bucks have the greatest shooter of all time who is just difficult to guard with his constant movement alongside the most dangerous inside player. The duo will surely be unstoppable.
Nonetheless, as things currently stand, that’s only a far-fetched dream.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo Punishes Stephen Curry-Less Golden State Warriors
While Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry had such a great moment, it didn’t stop the former from going all-out to defeat the team of the latter.
The Milwaukee Bucks edged the Golden State Warriors 129-118, with Antetokounmpo dropping a game-high 33 points on top of nine rebounds and five assists.
Antetokounmpo fueled a big fourth quarter for the Bucks, during which they scored 46 points to pull away from the Dubs. Giannis dropped 15 in the period as the Warriors struggled to find a way to slow him down.
