Up until this point, the basketball world still can’t stop talking about Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and his recent game-ball dispute with virtually the entire Indiana Pacers team. There have been dissenting opinions on the matter as to whether or not the former back-to-back MVP, who at that time had just dropped a career-high 64 points in a win, had any right to charge the Pacers locker room to retrieve a piece of memorabilia that he felt belonged to him.
Philadelphia 76ers veteran Patrick Beverley has chimed in on the matter at hand and as expected, the fiery guard went full savage with his take.
Patrick Beverley Clowns Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo
According to Beverley, if he were on the Pacers, he would have opted to give Antetokounmpo the ball after the game. However, he would not have done so without making his personal mark on it first:
“I would have poked a hole in that b*tch,” Beverley said on a recent episode of the Pat Bev Pod. “Beat me? Put 60 on me? Yeah, you can have this ball. Then I thought about it. Ah, I’ll peel that b*tch like an orange. Pieces of that b*tch. You want it? Here! … Or I’ll sign that motherf***er, here you go.”
This is Patrick Beverley we’re talking about here and while his comments might be funny, the fact of the matter is that we would not put this beyond him. I can actually see Beverley acting this out if he were the one who Giannis dropped 64 on.
The three-time All-Defensive guard then turned his attention to the Pacers and rookie Oscar Tshiebwe, who scored his first NBA basket the same night Antetokounmpo made history:
“[The Pacers] said they wanted to give it to they rookie,” Beverley continued. “… Then I heard they gave him the wrong ball. NBA is a big a** soap opera, and I love this sh*t.”
Pat Bev says he would’ve deflated Giannis’ game ball
"I would've poked a hole in that b*tch. Beat me? Put 60 on me? Yeah, you can have this ball. Then I thought about it. I would've pealed that b*tch like an orange."

You can say that again. Pat Bev does live for this type of NBA drama.
