The 33 points that Giannis scored against the Heat on Tuesday night gave him 16,791 points for his career. This moved him ahead of former three-time All-Star Buck Williams (16,784) for 102nd on the all-time scoring list. Williams played in the NBA for 17 seasons for three different teams (New Jersey Nets, Portland, and the New York Knicks).
The next player Giannis can pass on the NBA all-time scoring list is former two-time All-Star Elton Brand (16,827), who played 17 NBA seasons for the Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, and Atlanta Hawks.
Giannis is just 28 years old and is in his 11th NBA season.

However, according to StatMuse, Giannis’ performance on Tuesday night tied a record held by James. By shooting over 50% from the floor, Giannis’ 30-10-5 game was his 95th such performance with at least that high of a shooting percentage.
