After the Milwaukee Bucks lost in embarrassing fashion in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs, head coach Mike Budenholzer was fired. As the front office searches for his replacement, fans of multiple teams are out on social media suggesting trades that would send any one of the Bucks’ core members to their favorite teams. Of course, the most coveted player by opposing fan bases is two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Earlier this week, during a live stream, Giannis was asked by a fan to come to the Golden State Warriors. His response will melt the hearts of Bucks fans.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Has No Intention of Leaving the Milwaukee Bucks for the Golden State Warriors

The live stream that Giannis did went viral this week due to the question he was asked about joining the Warriors, as well as his response. Some opposing fans cut the video short in their posts to make it seem like Giannis was indicating something that he was not:

As seen in the video, Giannis reads the question, “Please come to the Warriors,” and looks off camera shaking his head. He does not say anything right away, and many posters cut the video off there to make it seem like he was considering the idea.
Thankfully, Bucks fans in the comments posted the rest of his response:

“Ehh, no. No. I’m not that kind of guy. Thanks!” Giannis said in the video.
If Bucks fans are worried that Giannis will leave following a disappointing short run in the playoffs, they should be at ease. He is not leaving any time soon.
If opposing fans are hoping that Giannis will leave, they are opening themselves up for disappointment. Giannis loves Milwaukee and is committed to the franchise that drafted him and helped him become the player that he is today.
He is not leaving.
