Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 64 points in a 140-126 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. This was a historic night for Antetokounmpo and the franchise because he broke Michael Redd’s 57 points. That was set back on November 11, 2006, against the Utah Jazz.
One of the biggest stories about this game was after the game was over. Giannis Antetokounmpo wanted the game ball because he set the franchise record, but someone on the Indiana Pacers stole the game ball and Twitter went off on that matter.
Antetokounmpo was confronting Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton about it. This was a major issue and it was a weak move by the Pacers. Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke to the media after the game on Wednesday and he isn’t sure that the game ball he received after all of that was actually the game ball.
He said to the media about it:
“I have a ball but I don’t know if it’s the game ball. It doesn’t feel like the game ball to me. It feels like a brand new ball… I played 35 minutes today. I know what the game ball felt like.”
It was silly that the Pacers took it in the first place and it was just wrong on all levels. Maybe they should have stopped Antetokounmpo from having his ball in the hands all night instead of making a horrendous move.

If only the Pacers cared this much about defending the ball DURING the game. https://t.co/sdXvebVfLg

the shenanigans were unprecedented, but so is an entire team grouping up to smuggle away a game ball in defeat. I cant see that happening to any other player.
I dont know what the my world equivalent is to scoring 60 points in the nba. it probably does warrant big emotions

This was a historic night for the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo against the Indiana Pacers. This story would not have happened if Indiana did the right thing and just let Antetokounmpo have the game ball.
