Doc Rivers has finally won his first game as the Milwaukee Bucks’ head coach at the expense of the Dallas Mavericks. In turn, fanbases of both franchises have turned to social media to express what they felt about the said game.

In that contest, Giannis Antetokounmpo turned the dial to 11 and gave an impressive performance to lead the Bucks. In 40 minutes on the court, the Greek Freak posted 48 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, and five steals. Meanwhile, Damian Lillard added 30 points, three rebounds, and eight assists to help Milwaukee win.

Even with a 25-point lead at some point in the game, the Dallas Mavericks lost control and allowed the Bucks to dominate them. Luka Doncic, on the other hand, notched 40 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists in a stellar effort to lead his team.

This victory marks Rivers’ first, especially after two consecutive losses to the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers. The latter, in particular, spoiled Lillard’s return to his former team after spending 11 seasons there.

    129-117 win

This game, like this season, is a marathon

Started out like a disaster in 1Q, got hot in 2Q, back & forth 3Q, took care of business in 4Q

While things are looking good for Bucks fans, it’s the exact opposite for those who follow the Dallas Mavericks. Shown below are some reactions posted on X:

It seems both fanbases are highly emotional after the Bucks’ big win over the Mavs. But as it stands, the next certain match these two teams will have is going to be next season. In any case, that’ll be one game everyone will look forward to.
