The Milwaukee Bucks are currently fighting for their playoff lives against the Indiana Pacers. After a dominant game-one victory, the Bucks dropped three straight to fall to 3-1 against Indiana. However, another dominant game-five victory forced the series to go back to Indiana for game six.
Damian Lillard missed game five due to an Achilles injury. His status for game six has been up In the air, however, Milwaukee just got some pretty massive news regarding their superstar point guard.
The Milwaukee Bucks Get Huge Damian Lillard News Prior To Game Six Against The Indiana Pacers

According to ESPN News Services:
Milwaukee Bucks star guard Damian Lillard has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Thursday’s Game 6 of the Eastern Conference first-round series against the Indiana Pacers.
Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo remained doubtful on the NBA injury report as he deals with the calf injury that has kept him out of the series and off the court since April 9.
Sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Antetokounmpo and Lillard are both working to try to play Thursday but that it was still unclear whether either will be available.
Lillard has sat out the past two games with a right Achilles injury for the Bucks, who trail 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. The eight-time All-Star averaged 32.3 points in the first three games of the series.
On Tuesday, coach Doc Rivers described Lillard and Antetokounmpo as “very, very, very close” to playing.
Without Lillard and Antetokounmpo in the lineup for Game 5, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis scored 29 points apiece in Milwaukee’s 115-92 victory over Indiana on Tuesday. The win made the Bucks the first team in NBA history to win a playoff game while missing their top two scorers from the regular season.
This Series Means A Lot For Milwaukee As A Whole

The Bucks have a lot riding on not suffering another early round exit in the NBA playoffs. While injuries have certainly played a role in the playoffs this year, Giannis has made it clear he wants to win. If Milwaukee isn’t in a position to win (in his opinion) he wants out.
Damian Lillard came to Milwaukee to win. Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton are not getting any younger. In order to keep the nucleus of the Bucks’ team together, post season success seems necessary.
A first round exit against the Indiana Pacers could be detrimental to the interest of a few star players wanting to stay in Milwaukee.
