For the first time this season, Central Division Rivals Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls will face off on Monday night. The Bucks (5-4) host the Bulls (4-6) at the Fiserv Forum as both sides look to improve on their respective win-loss records to start the season.
It appears that the Bulls are facing an even more difficult task in trying to upset Milwaukee on their home floor with a couple of their key players popping up on the official injury report.
Chicago Bulls Dealing With Slew of Injuries
For starters, it appears that the Bulls will be without combo guard Alex Caruso, who has been listed as doubtful to play due to a left toe strain. The 29-year-old missed Chicago’s last game — a win against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday — and he could be out for a second straight contest on Monday.
Patrick Williams, who has recently been relegated to the second unit after starting the season as Chicago’s starting power forward, is also on the injury report. Williams, though, is probable to play with a left finger sprain, so he could be in the lineup against the Bucks.
Lonzo Ball remains out after undergoing surgery on his left knee (again) this past summer. Second-year shooting guard Dalen Terry is also still out, along with their three G League/two-way guys, Onuralp Bitim, Justin Lewis, and Adama Sanogo.
Milwaukee Bucks Also Shorthanded
For their part, the Bucks are also going to be shorthanded on Monday night. Jae Crowder will not be able to play due to a left groin strain.
Damian Lillard, who missed the team’s last two games due to a calf problem, has been listed as probable to play, which means that he could finally be back in the mix for Milwaukee when they take on Chicago on Monday night. Fans know that they need their superstar point guard back as soon as possible.
