The Milwaukee Bucks can start getting prepared for the 2024-2025 season officially after the Boston Celtics won its record 18th NBA title on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks. Boston was the best team in the NBA all season long and congrats to them on winning another NBA title.
The Celtics this year capitalized on one of the Bucks’s biggest mistakes. Boston’s starting point guard this season was Jrue Holiday after Milwaukee traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers in the Damian Lillard trade. Portland felt like they didn’t need Holiday, so they decided to trade him to the Celtics.
This is his second NBA title in four seasons. He also won the 2021 NBA title with the Bucks against the Phoenix Suns. This is the sixth straight season there has been a different NBA Champion.

They are the favorites to repeat because Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are not going anywhere. Jrue Holiday is not getting any younger and it will also be interesting to see how Kristaps Porzingis’s health will be in the long run. Al Horford can very well retire.
