The Milwaukee Brewers starting rotation is finally healthy and firing on all cylinders. Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, Freddy Peralta, Wade Miley, and Adrian Houser are currently the five used players to start games. On MLB Network Dontrelle Willis ranked the top five starting rotations among playoff contending teams. He ranked the Los Angeles Dodgers fifth, Baltimore Orioles fourth, Philadelphia Phillies, third, Seattle Mariners second, and Milwaukee Brewers first.
Now they are at full strength. They get Woodruff back but also have Burnes and Peralta. That is a three headed monster that nobody wants to face. Adrian Houser is also there so they got depth.
They have swing and miss stuff at the top of this rotation and nobody, AL or NL, wants to see them.
Statistically speaking Brewers starting pitchers the best opponent batting average against this year (.235). As a unit they are ranked 11th in ERA (4.13) but as mentioned by Dontrelle Willis Brandon Woodruff recently returned. Additionally Burnes and Peralta have been pitching a lot better lately. That three headed monster could cause an issue for any team in the post season.
