Former Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun retired from the MLB in 2021 and played for Milwaukee for 14 MLB seasons. The Brewers have a managerial opening and are looking for the next possible hire. They went 90-72 last season and won the National League Central division before losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Wild Card Round. Ryan Braun could be an interesting hire for this franchise because this fanbase loves him.
Owner Mark Attanasio can win this fanbase back if he hires Braun. Throughout his 14-year career with the Milwaukee Brewers, he had a .296 batting average with 352 home runs and 1154 RBIs, along with 216 stolen bases. His number will be retired one day by the Brewers franchise.
A couple of other known Milwaukee Brewers that could get hired as the team’s next manager are bench coach Pat Murphy and former Brewers player Rickie Weeks. There are other candidates that will be interviewed for the position as well. This managerial opening occurred because Craig Counsell abruptly left for the rivals, the Chicago Cubs.
It was either going to be Milwaukee or the New York Mets for Counsell, but Chicago came out of left field. Braun would be an interesting name for the Brewers franchise, but would he be willing to come out of retirement to manage the team? He is only 39 years old, and there are fans that want him to be the team’s next manager.
Milwaukee Brewers Fans Want Ryan Braun as the Team’s Next Manager
Fans have not gotten over the fact that Craig Counsell left the Brewers for the Cubs. General manager Matt Arnold is going through a long, extensive search for the next manager. There are some Milwaukee fans that want Braun as the next manager, and they feel like all would be forgiven toward ownership if it actually happened.

This fanbase thinks very highly of Braun. He was one of the best players in franchise history, and it would be intriguing to see him managing the franchise he played for. Ryan Braun would probably be around for a very long time if he became the next manager for the Milwaukee Brewers.
The odds of this happening, however, feel like a long shot. The Milwaukee Brewers fans can talk about this narrative all they want. If it does happen, they will be partying very hard because they will get a franchise icon to be their next manager, and it is something that this fanbase can all get behind.

Hire Molly
How does his number get retired? He’s never getting into the HOF. If they change the rules to put his number on the wall, Gantner’s better be up there first.
