The Milwaukee Brewers have a handful of prospects flourishing in the minor leagues. Standout teenager Jackson Chourio is the most well known, Jeferson Quero is quickly ascending, Jacob Misiorowski recently cracked the top 100 list, and Tyler Black is on pace for a 20 home run and 80 stolen base season.
Missing out of the above mentioned names is last year’s comp pick (72nd overall) Robert Moore. The 21 year old switch hitter was a College World Series stud and is the son of former Kansas City Royals GM Dayton Moore. Entering the 2023 season he was assigned to High-A in which he has been playing for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
Over the past 22 games the Brewers eighth ranked prospect has been doing an exceptional job at getting on base and he currently has a 22 game on-base streak.
Milwaukee Brewers: 8th ranked prospect Robert Moore has a 22 game on-base streak.
This streak started on June 8, 2023 and his streak reached 22 games on July 4, 2023. Over this stretch Robert Moore has a .288/.406/.463 slash with two home runs, four doubles, and two triples. He has drawn 15 free passes and struck out just 15 times.
Overall this year the switch hitter has a .232/.330/.395 slash through 70 games. He has been playing a lot for manager Joe Ayrault and is very solid defensively. Hopefully he can continue this hot streak at the plate and finish the second half of the season out strong.
