A year after joining the organization that pitcher, Jacob Misiorowski, has tied a Biloxi Shuckers strikeout record.

Making just his fifth start in Double-A Jacob Misiorowski went on to have a game to remember against the Mississippi Braves as he tied a franchise record with 12 strikeouts. He did this in six innings pitched, 96 pitches thrown, one hit allowed, three walks, and zero earned runs.

Aside from a blazing fastball that can reach the triple digits, Jacob Misiorowski also puts a ton of spin on his heater. Shuckers play-by-play announcer Javik Blake shared a video of his fastball spinning at 2600 RPMs.

This was quite an impressive performance from the young 21 year old pitcher. His stuff screams ‘future ace’ and he should advance through the Brewers farm system rather quickly.
