The Badgers were not the only Wisconsin college team to leave enemy territory with a win last night. The Marquette Golden Eagles (8-3) went to South Bend and defeated Notre Dame Basketball (7-3) 79-64. Even though Notre Dame shot better from three (40%) than Marquette (26%), the Golden Eagles dominated the glass and forced 10 turnovers while committing just three of their own all night. Notably, star sophomore guard Kam Jones lit up the floor.
