Wisconsin native Jordan Poole erupted for 41 points for the Washington Wizards in a 131-106 NBA preseason win over the New York Knicks. Poole has a lot to prove to himself this season after he was traded from the Golden State Warriors to the Nation’s Capital this offseason.

In this contest, he shot 50% from three-point land and made six three-pointers.  Poole made 15-of-16 free throws (93.8%) and also shot 52.6% from the field (10-of-19). He played 27:01 minutes in this basketball game for the Wizards.

Poole also grabbed five rebounds, recorded two assists, and recorded two steals. He also committed four turnovers. Jordan Poole is only 24 years old, and he is going to play a huge role in the massive rebuild for the Wizards this season and beyond. A couple of other players that will have huge roles on this basketball team this season under head coach Wes Sneld Jr. are Kyle Kuzma and rookie Bilal Coulibaly.

Jordan Poole of the Washington Wizards Gets Interesting Fans Reactions on Twitter

With Poole playing very well in that preseason game on Wednesday night against the New York Knicks, he got a lot of interesting responses on Twitter. The fans had fun tweeting about his performance in this NBA contest.

There will be a time this season when Jordan Poole goes on such a scoring heater you think “that’s an all-star”, while his defensive assignment gets a layup at the other end because he’s busy doing synchronized pirouettes with Kuz and i want you to remember this tweet.

Poole is going to have a big season potentially for the Wizards, even if they are going to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. Washington can very well be in play for the number one pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Even if they are,  Poole is going to be a highlight reel waiting to happen every single game they play this season.  He will be talked about a lot this season on social media on a very bad basketball team.
