The New York Jets and Jordan Love would be an interesting combination. Right now the two organizations have championship aspirations, but are very different.
The Green Bay Packers are hoping to be at the very start of their championship window. As one of the youngest teams in the NFL, the Packers are set up to be successful for a very long time.
The Jets know that they are in a “win now” mode. While Rodgers would love to play multiple seasons, it is unclear how long he has before he hangs up his cleats for good.

Jordan Love Will Become One Of The Highest Paid QBs In The League Soon
Negotiations between the sides are expected to conclude well before the regular season begins. There isn’t much leakage of information from either side, so it appears all is on track.
The most common reason for leaks is dissatisfaction between one party and another.
Despite Love being arguably the best quarterback in the NFL late last season, this Love contract negotiation is difficult. He has had a very small sample size.
Hence, it is more important for the sides to reach an agreement on the potential than on the past performance.
It’s because of this that some of the big contract extensions are currently being negotiated can be so challenging.
