    Green Bay Packers: Fans Explode Over Davante Adams Reuniting Via Trade With Aaron Rodgers

    Green Bay Packers fans were wondering if there was a chance Davante Adams was going to come back to Green Bay via trade after he requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders. Instead, the New York Jets acquired wide receiver Davante Adams for a draft pick on Tuesday.

    Adams is reunited with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They were teammates on the Green Bay Packers from 2014-2021. Adams had some of the best years of his NFL career with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay.

    To no surprise, the Packers fanbase exploded over the Jets acquiring Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders to reunite with Aaron Rodgers. Here is what Green Bay fans had to say about it on Twitter:

    It is funny that the fanbase is calling the New York Jets the New York Packers with all of the moves the Jets have made ever since Aaron Rodgers was traded from Green Bay to New York. A lot of people also believe that Aaron Rodgers has a ton of pull with the Jets organization and that he is making a ton of the decisions.

    The last time that Rodgers and Adams played with each other was in 2021 on the Green Bay Packers. During the 2021 season, Davante Adams caught 123 passes for 1,553 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns. He averaged 12.6 yards per reception.

    It will be interesting to see if Rodgers and Adams will be able to develop chemistry right off the bat. Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson will be the top two wide receivers on the Jets roster moving forward. Mike Williams will most likely be the odd man out and possibly seek a trade.
