The Milwaukee Bucks got Giannis Antetokounmpo back on Saturday night following a one-game absence. The former back-to-back looked a bit rusty at times, which is understandable considering his was coming off a six-day lay-off.
Unfortunately for the Bucks, Giannis is on the injury report again ahead of Saturday’s rematch against the Detroit Pistons. At this point, fans are holding their breath as they ask the same question: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Pistons?
Milwaukee Bucks List Giannis as Probable to Play
The good news for Milwaukee supporters is that Antetokounmpo has a very good chance of playing tonight. This is after he was listed as probable to play on the official injury report.
It’s still the same right shoulder contusion that is bothering the seven-time All-Star. This is the same issue that forced him to sit out on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, but he also played through the knock on Saturday in Detroit.
Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Giannis should be good to go on Monday night. Confirmation will likely come close to tip-off, and we will be sure to monitor the situation throughout the day.
But as of right now, with regard to the question of Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Pistons? The answer is that it’s highly probable.
UPDATE: Giannis has been cleared to play, per head coach Adrian Griffin:
